Take the excitement and sounds of a modern pop concert and combine them with the magic and mystique of the traditional circus. Add in world-class aerialists, acrobats, gymnasts and dancers. Set them on stage with stunning lights, special effects and a high adrenaline soundtrack.

The result: Cirque Pop!, an extremely popular show custom created for Vancouver’s Fair at the Pacific National Exhibition (PNE). PRP strategically conceptualized and produced Cirque Pop! in 2001, using our creative and technical skills to produce a cost-effective, media-generating attraction in one of the client’s small arena-style buildings. Located off the beaten path, the venue needed a dynamic, brand new program to drive attendance and use the building to its full capacity.

Cirque Pop! was a tremendous success. Over 75,000 guests stood in line to get seats, selling out every show. Cirque Pop! was nominated Best Overall Production by the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) and Best Public Entertainment Event by the Canadian Event Industry Association (CEIA).
