Denver, CO
The PASS Summit in Denver, Colorado was a chance for Microsoft SQL Server Users to get together to share new ideas and explore new technologies. The Summit is the largest event in the world dedicated to increasing SQL Server and Business Intelligence Education, and PRP, working with the event management experts at Christianson & Co., was delighted to be a part of it.
PRP Corporate Productions is a division of PRP – a Vancouver based event and Creative show production company. "We take great pride in delivering corporate events with the same commitment to high production standards as we would with a high pressure entertainment event" says PRP President Patrick Roberge, "Our production department works seamlessly with Conference Producers to ensure all production aspects of the business sessions are presented with theatrical excellence."
For the Professional Association for SQL Servers (PASS), the Annual Summit provides not only an opportunity to get users from around the globe together for networking, educational sessions, training and advancement, but it also provides PASS with an opportunity to interact directly with Microsoft staff and product developers.
The annual summit was attended by over 2000 delegates and featured a complex array of keynote addresses, breakout sessions, and technical logistics that needed to be managed. PRP's extensive experience managing speakers, performers and liaising with venue staff ensured that the sessions were all managed with great efficiency and professionalism. This meant that not only were the delegates treated to a world-class event, but that the PASS achieved their objective- getting the group and its high quality work noticed by Microsoft staff. Microsoft was so impressed with the professionalism and quality of the conference that they have committed to dedicating energy and time to both future PASS events as well as the service group.
"Being able to not just deliver a top rate conference, but using it as a tool to advance the objectives of our client is what all of us at PRP love doing most," said Project Manager Heather Connell. "PRP Corporate Productions look forward to working with PASS again to achieve their next set of objectives."
