In conjunction with the ongoing festivities across the country today, PRP celebrated the One Year Countdown to the start of the 2010 Paralympic Winter Games.

Earlier this year, PRP was named Producer for the Opening & Closing Ceremonies of the 2010 Paralympic Winter Games.

“It is exciting to know that in exactly one year, the entire world will gather in Vancouver to cheer on the paralympians and the adversities they have overcome,” said PRP’s President & Creative Director Patrick Roberge.  “We want to produce an event that will carry over the enthusiasm from the Olympics and keep the public excited for all the events during the 10 days of competition”

To maintain the suspense of the Opening & Closing Ceremonies, few details will be shared of the creative programming, but look for PRP to present a truly Canadian story that will involve community members of all ages and abilities.  The show will be emotionally motivating for both paralympians and ceremonies participants in addition to the audience.
