Vancouver, BC
To celebrate the 20th Annual Consulting Engineers of British Columbia (CEBC) Awards for Engineering Excellence, PRP Creative Events produced a drum-filled night of thunderous rhythms at the ballroom of the Vancouver Conference and Exhibition Centre.
The CEBC Awards Gala is a 20-year tradition that celebrates the many achievements, excellence and innovations in Consulting Engineering.
“There is no better way to celebrate the accomplishments of the consulting engineers who are truly outstanding in their areas of practice, than to host this Gala to showcase their work,” said President of the CEBC, Angus English.
Feel the Beat, opened with the triumphant sounds of Burnaby North’s Viking Marching Band. Throughout the evening, MC Russ Hamilton kept winners and attendees on the edge of their seats while they feasted on the delectable cuisine. Featured entertainment came from the collaboration between Unume Taiko, one of Canada’s most dynamic drum and dance performance ensembles, and Afro-Cuban, a Vancouver-based percussion trio. After dinner and the award presentations, attendees retired to the after-gala lounge to continue with the evenings’ festivities
PRP’s production and event management services for the Awards Gala included technical direction, set design, lighting, audio, video, talent coordination and scripting.
