With just over 100 days until the start of the Vancouver 2010 Paralympic Games, PRP is gearing up for the final leg of producing the Opening and Closing Ceremonies.
Rehearsals are set to begin in early January. After a long search of suitable rehearsal venues, it was announced today that PRP will be holding all rehearsals for the Opening and Closing Ceremonies at the Cloverdale Agriplex, in the Vancouver 2010 Host Community of Surrey.
“We looked at locations and cities across the lower mainland before selecting Surrey,” says PRP President and Creative Director Patrick Roberge. “The City has been extremely welcoming, and we anticipate a large number of our performers to come from across that community, so it’s a natural fit to select Surrey as the Host Community.”
